In an Instagram post, they explained they're closing because the space is too small.
Their lease recently expired, and instead of renewing it, they decided to close their doors for good.
They pointed out that the shop doesn't have the best layout to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
The Irish brand will be opening a pop-up store in Dundrum on the 8th October for six months.
Their plan is to move to a permanent store somewhere in Dublin once the six months is up.
Folklore wrapped up their post by thanking everybody who's visited them in Temple Bar.
They added, 'And our amazing team for making it so special for us.'
'We are beyond grateful, we hope you’ll all continue with us on our adventure 😊❤️'
'(P.S KIlkenny remains unchanged - we’re just moving from Temple Bar)'
