Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard
Curtis Pritchard has finally popped the question and asked Maura Higgins to be his girlfriend.
The pair met in the Love Island villa earlier this summer and have been inseparable ever since.
'He asked me out over dinner in London.'
Maura shares their big news in an interview with OK! Magazine this week, 'He asked and I said yes obviously.'
'He took me away for a weekend break, and he asked me out over dinner in London the next day.'
Curtis explains why he waited so long, 'I want something that's going to last forever.'
'There's no point in rushing thing. We've only known each other a short amount of time.'
Curtis and Maura shocked viewers when they got together on Love Island earlier this summer.
The pair tell the outlet, 'People say we're opposites. But opposites attract!'
There had been rumours that Curtis was spotted cosying up to Cheryl backstage at The Greatest Dancer.
He says, 'I spoke to Cheryl for about five minutes. There's been no messages or anything.'
Maura chimes in, 'I don't care about the stories, they don't bother me. I'm not threatened by Cheryl.'

The pair met on this year's series of Love Island and made it all the way to the final.
Curtis had originally been coupled up with Amy in the villa.
However, it wasn't long before they called off their exclusive coupling.
Maura had been in a few different couplings at this stage but hadn't found anyone she truly connected with.
When Amy and Curtis split, she told him she had feelings for him.
This came as a surprise to pretty much everyone.

Just as Curtis and Maura were getting to know each other on a deeper level, new girl Francesca made an entrance.
The dancer wanted to keep seeing Maura while also getting to know Francesca.
He soon discovered his feelings for Maura were much stronger than his feelings for Francesca.

Curtis and Maura re-coupled and despite their many disagreements, they stuck it out 'til the end.
The couple came in fourth place on this year's series.
