Three quarters of people rate themselves as a "very good" or "excellent" driver.
However, they'd only use that label for 12% of other motorists.
The survey for the European Motor Show also found:
- 84% admit to speeding on purpose when they're running late.
- 78% have shouted or sworn at another road user.
- 64% admit to using their mobile phone while driving.
- 71% reckon they could pass the test again tomorrow without any prep.
Additionally, 44% of men said they feel positive towards possibly owning an electric car as their next car.
That's compared with just 18% of women.
Mobile phone use by other drivers was listed as the most annoying behavior at 53% (but do note the third item in the list above!)
Almost one in five admit to sending a message, a smaller number said they've even taken photos or videos while driving.
Over a quarter (27%) said they have never looked at the rules of the road since they passed the test.
