Curtis Pritchard comes under fire

Love Island's Curtis Pritchard has been facing serious backlash online.

It's after The Sun released quotes from his upcoming stand up performance for Channel 4.

Many believe his comments to be, 'misogynistic,' and, 'gross.'

Curtis is set to appear in Channel 4's new comedy show, Stand Up And Deliver, in support of Stand Up To Cancer.

The show sees celebs paired with professional comedians who prepare them for their first stand up show.

'Who'll have the last laugh and get top-billing as Stand Up and Deliver champion?'

Curtis' performance

Curtis has come under fire after The Sun released some of his upcoming jokes.

He allegedly compares female Love Island contestants to the dogs he looked after when he worked in a kennel.

As quoted by The Sun, Curtis allegedly says, "Looking back now it reminds me of Love Island because when the dogs are in season they go crazy, there was bi***es running around left, right and centre."

"They were trying to ride each other non-stop, it was wild."

It's reported he also joked that the girls are like cars.

"You’ve got all these different shapes and sizes in front of you, take it for a spin, take it for a test drive and if you don’t like it, you send it back," Curtis allegedly said.

During a chat about his upcoming performance, the reality star told The Sun, 'There was lots of comedy elements in that.'

'Comedy’s meant to be edgy, pushing the boundaries and at the end of the day, it’s meant to be just good fun and enjoyment for everyone that’s going to listen.'

Backlash

After reading the comments, many have taken to social media, branding Curtis, 'misogynistic.'

One Twitter user said, 'Is being misogynistic a form of stand up or are you just not funny?'

At the time of writing, Curtis hasn't addressed the issue.
