New research suggests getting a tattoo could help you land a job. It is estimated 40% of young adults have tattoos.
A US study says job seekers with tattoos are just as likely if not more likely to gain employment and that visible tattoos are not linked to employment or wages.
This means recruiters would be at a competitive disadvantage to find the best candidate if they discriminated negatively against them.
The results also showed that annual earnings of people with tattoos is almost identical to people without.
