School evacuated

A secondary school in Blanchardstown had to be evacuated this morning due to a fire.

Two units of the Dublin fire brigade dealt with the blaze at Blakestown Community School in Blanchardstown.

It was confined to a small area and there were no injuries.

The school says it has sent all students home and that it happened due to roof repairs.
