Rapper XXXTentacion has died aged 20.
The 20-year-old was shot dead in Miami, officials have confirmed. According to TMZ, he was said to be shopping for motorcycles in the Deerfield Beach area, when a gunman is thought to have approached his vehicle. He was reportedly approached by two suspects as he left the dealership.
The Boward County Sheriff's Office confirmed in a tweet that Jahseh Onfroy was pronounced dead after being taken to hospital.
Authorities are investigating the incident as a possible attempted robbery. Witnesses are said to have told police that a Louis Vuitton bag was taken from XXX's car.

His music career was often overshadowed by his legal turmoil, including charges related to domestic battery, false imprisonment and aggrevated battery of a pregnant woman. He plead not guilty and was released from house arrest awaiting trial.
Last month he was temporarily banned from Spotify's in-house playlists over alleged hateful conduct.
