Professor Says We Should Eat No More Than 6 Chips Per Sitting

A professor at Harvard University suggests that people should eat no more than six chips in one sitting.

Professor Eric Rimm - who calls chips a starch bomb - says that they can lead to serious health issues, and that six is more than enough.

New York Times with the headline 'You Don’t Want Fries With That” details the health risks of eating too many potatoes, and a 2017 study cited by the article came to the conclusion that 'the frequent consumption of fried potatoes appears to be associated with an increased mortality risk.'

Potatoes, especially those dunked and cooked in hot oil, have been linked to obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

Social media has responded to the serving suggestion, with one waiter saying they'd fear of the potential customer backlash if they changed their serving size to six chips.

It doesn't look like this people will be taking Professor Rimm's advice:
