Prince William Praises First Openly Gay Professional Soccer Player In Over 30 Years

Britain's Prince William has praised footballer Jake Daniels for his courage for coming out as gay.

The 17-year-old Blackpool player is the only current men's player to do so in the UK.

The royal tweeted a message of support, saying he hopes the announcement will "break down barriers that have no place in society".
