The move comes as Jackson attempts to rebuild his career after having his Ulster contract revoked and getting dropped by the IRFU just over two months ago following the Belfast rape trial verdict, along side his former team mate Stuart Olding.
According to sources, Jackson had been in talks with the French club all last week and was persuaded to join by new head coach Jeremy Davidson.
Perpignan have been relegated from the French Top14 this season.
