It has been confirmed that Neighbours will feature Australian TV’s first same-sex wedding.
The soap will air the marriage of Aaron Brennan and David Tanaka this coming September and the pair will be joined by Australian actress and LGBT rights activist Magda Szubanski.
It will be the first same-sex wedding on an Australian TV show after same-sex marriage was legalised back in December 2017.
Matt Wilson, who plays Aaron Brennan has given his reaction to the news:
