The Mayor of Kerry Niall Kelleher has responded to his Dublin counterpart's invitation in a fitting way.

Paul McAuliffe invited Councillor Kelleher to stay in the Mansion House for the All-Ireland Football Final.

However, he changed the letter 's' to the number '5', in reference to Dublin's drive for five titles in a row.

Now the Mayor of Kerry says he would like a room facing the 37 bar on Dawson Street, as it is the number of times Kerry has won the Sam Maguire.

He also adds that he would like to return the invite by saying:

"You can get to Kerry easily, just follow Sam down the road when he's travelling home. He knows the way fierce well, having being down here 37 times."
