Jobs at Mastercard
Mastercard is creating 1,500 new jobs in Dublin.
The company is developing a new site in Leopardstown which will become its European Technology Hub.
Mastercard's Ken Moore made the official announcement that it plans to more than triple its workforce in Dublin over the next three to five years.
Construction on a campus-style office block is underway in Leopardstown to house all the new staff.
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar made a speech at the announcement, stealing some inspiration from Mastercard's TV ads.
The company, which currently employs over 650 people here, is looking to hire people with software skills who want to work on cutting edge technology projects.

Acting Taoiseach Leo Varadkar added:

"The 1,500 jobs being created at Mastercard are high quality, skilled positions, which I'm sure will be much sought after.
