A man has been shot dead by Gardai looking for a woman who disappeared in Wicklow at the weekend.
He was caught at Cherrywood in South Dublin as part of the hunt for Jastine Valdez.
The 24 year old woman has still not been found.
The man, who was believed to be armed with a knife, was from Wicklow, and married with children.
