The Brexit inspired artwork depicts a man chiseling away one of the 12 stars from the European Union flag. The anonymous artist shared a photo of his latest work on Instagram yesterday confirming it's legitimacy.

The paiting can be seen on the side of the Castle Amusements building in a port town in Dover. It faces a ferry port which according to NME is 'a key transport and trade link between Britain and the rest of Europe.'

Banksy's art has always had a political tone. In March he opened a hotel in Bethlehem to mark 100 years since Britain occupied Palestine.
