Leinster have handed a debut to Joe Tomane for their Guinness PRO-14 opener at Cardiff tomorrow night.
The former Australia international starts in the centre, where he is joined by Rory O’Loughlin.
Ross Byrne has been selected at out-half for what will be his 50th cap, and his half-back partner will be Luke McGrath.
Number 8 Caelan Doris has been preferred to Max Deegan and is set for his first start for the Blues, in a side skippered by flanker Rhys Ruddock.
