Dublin manager Jim Gavin has agreed to a two year extention to is term in charge of the county.

Gavin has over-seen a huge revival in the Dubs fortunes since he took over from Pat Gilroy in 2013.

He started as he meant to go on, as Dublin claimed the League and Championship double in his first year in charge.

Just last year, he led the Dubs to their third All-Ireland title under his management after a replay against Mayo.

His new term will expire at the end of the 2019 Championship season.
