Experts say new types of sharks could be heading to Irish waters in 30 years time.

Our seas only have to warm up by less than one degree for them to move in and that will happen by the year 2048.

Doctor Ken Collins from the University of Southampton carried out the study.

He says we shouldn't be concerned: "They will exist in the Mediterranean not far away from us now, but no Mediterranean beaches which are protected by shark nets or spotter helicopters or culling programs."
