Irish actor Alan O'Neill has died in Los Angeles.
The Sons of Anarchy star's body was discovered at his apartment on Wednesday night.
According to TMZ, he reportedly had a history of chronic heart problems, and was a heavy smoker.
No foul play is suspected in his death.
Alan was best known for his roles as Hugh in Sons of Anarchy and Keith McGrath in RTÉ's Fair City from 2006-2012.
O'Neill's agent Annette Walsh described him as 'brilliant.'
'I'll personally miss knowing Alan isn't sharing the planet with us any longer, despite the miles between L.A and Dublin, Alan was only ever a phone call away.'
Tributes have been pouring in for Alan. Among those are fellow Irish actor Jenny Dixon and Sons of Anarchy actor Timothy V Murphy.
