We've all been saying it, but it technically hasn't been true.
However, from today Ireland will absolutely be in the midst of a heatwave, with temperatures set to reach 30 degrees in parts.
A heatwave is when temperatures go over 25 degrees for 5 consecutive days, and today is the 5th day.
