There are early indications humanitarian corridors aren't being honoured again in Ukraine, for the third time in as many days.

Russia's accusing the country of not complying with agreements, to help evacuate civilians out of cities under attack.

The Red Cross says the road out of Mariupol - an area under some of the heaviest bombardment - is littered with mines.

Though an adviser to Ukraine's president says the city of Chernihiv is back under Ukrainian control.

The Russian Defence Ministry says the humanitarian corridors were disclosed in advance.

Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov says they'll be checking the situation closely.

Konashenkov said that they will be continually monitoring the corridors from the skies with unmanned aerial vehicles (drones).
