Gardai are investigating a carjacking in Dublin last night, after a jeep was stolen with a child on the back seat.
The incident happened on the Conyngham Road in Islandbridge at around 11pm, when a man and a woman were threatened at knife point.
They were pulled from their SUV just as they were leaving the Phoenix Park.
The car began to drive away with their 1-year old in the back seat, but it stopped and the attacked ordered the couple to take the child out.
Gardai are still searching for the car.
