Europe have claimed the 2018 Ryder Cup after crossing the magical threshold of 14 and a half points against the USA at Le Golf National in Paris.

Entering the final day singles 10 points to 6 ahead, Thomas Bjorn's side reached the magic number.

Francesco Molinari, the Open champion, won the pivotal match beating Phil Mickelson.
