Supporters from all across the county will celebrate the Dublin Senior Footballers 4th All Ireland title in a row tonight in the Smithfield Plaza.

The Plaza will host the homecoming party for the Boys in Blue tonight after they beat Tyrone in Croke Park yesterday.

Jim Gavin's men saw off the challenge of Mickey Harte's charges on a final score of 2-17 to 1-14 to claim a historic fourth consecutive All Ireland victory.

The celebrations will take place this evening from 6.30pm in what is a family-friendly and alcohol-free event.

Lord Mayor Neil Ring has called for Dublin fans to make their way to Smithfield tonight for the homecoming.

"It's beyond our wildest dreams that Dublin have done four in-a-row and last night we had a terrific night celebrating around the Croke Park area."

"This evening we are inviting all the Dublin fans up to Smithfield, to meet the players, see the cup yet again, for the fourth year in a row, and prepare ourselves for hopefully another great year."
