Concerns are being raised over the 'Bus Connect' plan, which plans to shake-up Dublin's Bus service.

City Councillor Chris Andrews says it's going to devastate urban villages in the city like Sandymount.

He says it would mean the number 1 and the number 47 route would no longer service the area.

Councillor Andrews says it'll negatively impact residents and businesses:

"It will obviously have an impact on the number of people coming and going into Sandymount village. Residents that I've spoken to are really concerned that it will impact on them on their social outings."
