Court appearance for Caroline Flack
Ex-Love Island presenter Caroline Flack has pleaded not guilty to assaulting her boyfriend Lewis Burton.
She posted a message on Instagram last night saying she was going through "the worst time" of her life.
The 40-year-old has stepped down as host of the upcoming winter series of the ITV2 dating show.
She was charged with assault by beating on December the 13th.
Her Instagram post on Sunday read: "This is the worst time of my life.
"I don't know where to go to. Where to look. Who to trust."
"Or who I even am."
The social media post, written in white letters on a black background, comes days after she quit as host of reality TV show Love Island.
Last week it was also announced that Laura Whitmore will take over from Caroline Flack as the host of Love Island's winter series.
Laura took to Instagram to share the exciting news with her 591k followers.

I will be hosting Love Island and Aftersun this series. Whhhhaa??? To say I’m excited to be heading to Cape Town to host Love Island, the biggest show on television, is an understatement. I want to thank ITV for trusting me at the helm of this huge show. I wish it was in better circumstances; Caroline is a brilliant host and friend. We’ve spoken a lot in the last few days since she stepped down. She has been very kind to me and strongly pushed me for this role. I’ve watched her host every series and know I have big boots to fill. I will try and do it justice. Above all, I am a massive fan of this show. I’ve never been to a Love Island villa, and I can’t wait to get in there to meet all the new islanders looking for love. The Love Island team are the best in the business… including the voice and heart of the show, Iain. He thought he was getting a holiday away from me...not a chance
It is understood ITV has also left the door open for Flack to return to the show in the future.
