It look's like barbecues in the park are to become a thing of the past.

A barbecue ban has been imposed in Dublin's Phoenix Park.

It comes after large amounts of littering and fire damage to the park grounds.

Park rangers will now be enforcing the ban and will advise the public to extinguish any barbecues they spot.

The Phoenix Park is one of Dublin's go to destinations on sunny days with 1750 acres of park land for park goers to enjoy the sunshine.
