One of the country's most iconic department stores celebrates 175th year in business today and has a jam packed day of events ahead.
Arnotts opened on 12 Henry Street on this day in 1843 and has promised to continue evolving its business for the benefit of Irish customers.
George Cannock and Andrew White opened the shop, and today is a day of celebration.
There will be live performances throughout the day from musicians such as Function Band, Melina Malone, and Ireland’s Got Talent’s star, magician Jamie Skelton.
There will also be a number of food stands and cooking demonstrations throughout the afternoon and early evening.
