An airline mechanic's stolen a plane and crashed into a small island in the US state of Washington.
The man was the only person on board the 76 - seater aircraft when it took off from Seattle's main airport.
F-15 military fighter jets were scrambled from a nearby air force base and were seen chasing the plane.
Some dude stole a plane from #Seatac (Allegedly), did a loop-the-loop, ALMOST crashed into #ChambersBay, then crossed in front of our party, chased by fighter jets and subsequently crashed. Weird times. pic.twitter.com/Ra4LcIhwfU

Officials say it's likely the man died in the crash.
Local sheriff Paul Pastor's ruling out terrorism.
"The person may have been doing some air stunts and whatever I know that some aircraft were scrambled from the air-force base, there's no indication that this person who was flying the place was trying to damage anything or attack anything."
