American Zoo Throws Gender Reveal Party For Gorilla

A zoo in America threw a gender reveal party for a gorilla.

Riverbanks Zoo in South Carolina designed coloured coconuts to celebrate a gorilla named Kazi's new arrival.

The baby was revealed to be a boy and all of the gorillas in the enclosure were given blue-filled coconuts.

They were dyed with edible blue colouring that went down a treat with the gorillas.

 

The entire gorilla troop couldn’t wait to crack into this announcement. Kazi’s little addition, born on June 4th, is a BOY! 💙For this festive occasion the family troop received some very special coconuts. Our keepers added just the right amount of edible blue dye for the big reveal. Since the gorillas love to crack open and snack on the delicious insides of coconuts what better way to reveal the infant's gender. 🥥🦍
