Rapper Jimmy Wopo has been shot dead.
The up-and-coming artist was killed in a drive by shooting in his hometown of Pittsburgh yesterday.
Police responded to the incident at 4:22pm where Wopo and a second, unknown male were taken to hospital.
Wopo's manager confirmed the 20-year-old's death in a post on Facebook. The second man remains in a stable condition.
This shooting is the second fatality the rap world saw yesterday with XXXTentacion shot dead in Florida.
The 21-year-old's US label Caroline released this statement,
“Everyone at Caroline is shocked to learn of the tragic death of Jahseh Onfroy, professionally known as XXXTentacion. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.“

It's heavily rumoured that Wopo was about to announce a large record deal.
It's not yet known if the shootings are connected.
