A man is being treated for serious injuries to his face after he was attacked in Lucan.
The 31-year-old was assaulted by four teenagers in the Castle Riada area at half four yesterday afternoon.
He was walking home from work when he was jumped.
He was brought to James Connolly Memorial Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made, and Gardai are appealing to speak with witnesses.
