It seems we're turning to ice cream to cool down during the hot weather.
With temperatures expected to reach 31°C in parts of the country, HB anticipates the total number of HB ice creams sold this week could reach 2 million.
That means, on average, more than 11 ice creams will be bought every second this week.
The Iceburger is Ireland's most popular ice cream, with more than 1 being bought every single second. Coming in at second is HB's iconic Brunch.
Paul Kelly, Head of Marketing, at Unilever said: “We know Irish people are massive ice cream enthusiasts, however, its undeniable that when the mercury rises it brings out the super fan in all of us.
