Laura Whitmore to host Love Island

It's been reported that ITV have decided on Laura Whitmore to take over from Caroline Flack as Love Island host.

Caroline stepped down as host following her assault charge last week and it looks like they've found their new presenter.

Laura is currently dating the show's voiceover Iain Stirling - it's believed this really stands in her favour.

She's already familiar with the Love Island crew because of her relationship with Iain.

And MailOnline reports show bosses are, 'keen to keep it in the family.'

It's also been reported that ITV are hoping the couple will co-present the Love Island spin-off show Aftersun.

Laura's the perfect choice considering she has tonnes of TV experience having worked on Xposé, This Morning, Britain's Got More Talent and a number of breakfast shows.
