Love Island needs a new host
Yesterday saw Caroline Flack step down from her role of Love Island host.
The news followed the 40-year-old's arrest for assault on Friday morning.
Flack was charged following an altercation with boyfriend Lewis Burton at her London home.
She is due to appear on bail at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday 23rd December.'
Taking to Instagram Stories with a statement Flack wrote, 'Love Island has been my world for the last five years, it's the best show on telly.'
'In order to not detract from the upcoming series I feel the best thing I can do is to stand down for Series 6.'
Naturally rumours are flying as to who will replace Flack as host of the hit show.
The bookies have even weighed in and we've been looking into our crystal ball.
Here are eight people we think could land the gig:
Maya Jama
Maya Jama is the name on everyone's lips this week.
The BBC Radio One presenter is being hotly tipped as Flack's replacement.
According to a source the presenting gig would be the star's 'dream job'.

In addition to her radio work, Jama is known for dating Stormzy.
The pair split recently after four years together with the artist publicly apologising to his ex girlfriend via the track Lessons on his new album Heavy Is The Head.
Gemma Collins
Fans have taken to Twitter to beg producers to hire Gemma has the host of Winter Love Island.
However, the TOWIE star has little to no presenting skills.

But that's not stopped bookies including her in the race.
Her current odds stand at 50/1.
Rick Edwards
Rick included himself in the Love Island conversation.
Following Flack's arrest the broadcaster tweeted, 'Well, ITV2. I'm pretty free in January, I'll happily travel to South Africa, and I've never been charged with assault.'
He continued, 'Full disclosure though, I was once charged with public urination in New York. Hope that's not a problem.'
Rick has TV experience having hosted T4, E4 Music and Paralympics coverage for Channel 4 in 2012.
Maura Higgins
Maura Higgins has been enjoying the attention on social media this week.
The 2019 Love Island contestant has been posting captions on Instagram implying she's bagged the hosting gig.
On Sunday she shared an image from a private jet and wrote, 'Off to the sun to shoot something very exciting...'

She followed this up with a snap from a summery location and the status, 'Do one winter...'
Maura was due to appear on the forthcoming season of Dancing On Ice, but yesterday revealed she was taking a break from training due to an injury.
Very suspicious timing...
Laura Whitmore
Laura Whitmore seems to be the front runner in the Love Island host race.
Reports broke yesterday that the ex MTV presenter had been approached by ITV bosses about the gig.
The Bray native already has links with the show having dated Ian Stirling for the last two years.

Laura has tonnes of TV experience having worked on Xposé, This Morning, Britain's Got More Talent and a number of breakfast shows.
Rumour has it she has already secretly met with ITV to discuss a deal.
Emily Atack
Emily Atack is a fan favourite for the job as Love Island host.
The English actress rose to fame in 2008 for playing Charlotte on The Inbetweeners.

Her popularity grew further when she finished in second place behind Harry Redknapp on 2018's I'm A Celeb.
Emily has TV experience and following her stint in the jungle went on to host I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp and an episode of This Morning.
