Planning a wedding is such a special time, especially getting to enjoy shopping with your bridesmaids.

The Wedding and Honeymoon Show will open its doors at the RDS, Dublin next month.

Ahead of the doors opening we talked to some of the wedding exhibitors to get their take on the ‘Biggest Bridesmaids Trends for 2019’

Bridesmaid’s dresses are starting to become almost as important as the wedding dress itself (almost!)

The search for a unique look that will look great on your girls as well as in your photos can be fun and challenging for brides!

Looking for great bridesmaid dresses does not need to take over which is why we've pulled in the experts.

Here's the top 5 bridesmaid trends that you NEED to know about for 2019!

The Beautifully Mismatched

Having your bridesmaids each wear a slightly different dress is becoming increasingly popular and looks fab in photos.

Mismatching does not necessarily mean clashing as long as you co-ordinate the dresses well.

Why not try a range of pastel colours to give your bridal party a subtle colour pop?

Same, Same but different

Staying with the mismatched theme, brides are beginning to encourage their bridesmaids to show off their own personal style.

Bridesmaids in the same colour but a different style of dress are becoming more and more popular.

The Embroidered Dress

Perfect for a boho bride, embroidered bridesmaid dresses are a unique way to add a splash of colour and detail to any bridal party.

Pretty and creative looking, the Embroidered Bridesmaid dress is definitely set to be a winning trend this year.

Despite tradition being that only the bride wear white, the idea of white bridesmaid dresses is becoming an increasingly popular trend.

As long as you ensure that the bridesmaid style is different than the wedding dress, and that both shades of white complement each other.
