The 71st annual BAFTA awards took place in London last night. 

The winning stars took to the stage to say a few words about their achievements. 

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri was the biggest winner on the night. The movie picked up five gongs in total including Best Film and Outstanding British Film. Gary Oldman also won Best Actor for playing Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour. 

The Shape of Water took home three awards, including Best Director for Guillermo Del Toro. 

Allison Janney went home with the award for Best Supporting Actress for I, Tonya. She delivered an emotional speech and said that she has high hopes for the future of women in the industry because of people like her I, Tonya co-star, Margot Robbie. 

Daniel Kaluuya thanked his mum in a heartfelt speech, claiming that he is the reason why he 'started, is here' and why he 'keeps going'.
