The actress was hospitalised on Christmas Eve after she collapsed at her home following a walk with her dogs.

After a conversation with her partner Lance O'Brien, Pingel announced to the media that she had died.

CNN report O'Brien was distraught on the phone to them.

He had said goodbye to Roberts at her bedside at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Later, the hospital called while he was doing an interview with Inside Edition to share the good news that she was still alive.

After getting off the phone, he beamed, "I'm so happy."

Some of Roberts' former That '70s Show co-stars however, had already began sharing touching tributes to her online.

Ashton Kutcher, who played Michael in the show, has been spreading the good news under their posts.

Topher Grace, who played Eric Forman, gushed over Roberts on Twitter.

He wrote, 'I was so sad to hear that Tanya Roberts has passed away.'

'She was a Bond girl, one of Charlie’s Angels, and truly a delightful person to work with.'

'I had never acted before and, to be honest, a little nervous around her.'

He finished, 'But she couldn’t have been kinder. We’ll miss you Midge.'

Ashton simply replied, 'yo bro she's not dead'

The Spider-Man actor simply reacted with a That '70s Show gif.

Kitty Forman actress Debra Jo Rupp tweeted, 'Tanya had a big deep hearty laugh.'

'She was all instinct and beauty. In the first season of 70’s we had a scene in the kitchen, drinking cocktails and laughing together.'

'She laughed, spit her drink in my face, apologized profusely and did it 3 more times.'

'I loved her. RIP beauty,' the tribute ended.

Ashton simply responded, 'dj she's still alive.'

Debra reacted with the same gif used by Topher captioned, 'To quote @TopherGrace :)'

Pingel has since told the PA News Agency, as reported by Sky News, that the family are awaiting further information from the hospital.

"It does not look good," he admitted.
