Russell Brand has cancelled the remaining dates in his Re:Birth tour.
The news comes as his mum was involved in a serious car accident on Friday afternoon.
She has sustained poly-traumatic injuries and just finished chemotherapy a month ago following her sixth battle with cancer.
Russell made the announcement in two Instagram videos saying he feels "too sad and connected to this" to continue with the tour.

He continued, thanking the NHS and explaining that he's taking a break from social media and has asked that fans "keep my mum Barbara Brand in your thoughts and hearts."

Russell Brand was due to play Dublin's Olympia Theater on 23rd and 24th May. Information on refunds and rescheduled dates to follow.
