Piers Morgan has been expressing his opinion on Liam and Cheryl's split. The pair announced on Sunday evening that they were going their separate ways, after two and a half years together.
Piers was questioning the statement that both Cheryl and Liam posted on their social media to announce their separation.
We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It's been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.

On Good Morning Britain, Piers said 'It's always weird when they say they have so much love for each other. If you love each other that much, what are you splitting up for?'
Piers added that he thinks there should be more honesty when it comes to public breakups. 'I always think these statements should be a little more honest: 'we can't stand the sight of each other.'
Just yesterday, Cheryl took to Twitter to call out 'false' and 'nasty' allegations about her mum Joan which claimed that she played a part in Cheryl and Liam's decision to split up. You can read all about that here.
