Maura Higgins throws shade at Curtis Pritchard
Maura Higgins seems to throw shade at her ex boyfriend Curtis Pritchard in her latest Instagram post.
It's after she announced earlier this week that they had gone their separate ways.
The pair met on last year's series of Love Island and made it all the way to the final.
The Irish Love Islander shared a photo of herself dressed in a full boohoo outfit.
She seems to hit out at Curtis in her caption, 'A strong woman never gives up on herself, but she may give up on you.'
Shortly after this, Curtis took to Instagram with a post of his own.
He poses with his family in the picture captioned, '#Family. The people that always support me .....'
The breakup
Maura Higgins announced her split from Curtis on Monday night.
Taking to Instagram Stories, she wrote, 'Curtis and I have made the decision to separate.'
'We enjoyed a great experience from our time in the villa and want to thank everyone for supporting our relationship.'
She went on, 'There is no easy way to get through a breakup and no bad feeling on either side.'
'We tried to make it work but it wasn't to be and I wish Curtis nothing but the best for the future.'
