After 13 years, Louis Walsh has confirmed that he has quit the X Factor.
Louis said 'I've had a fantastic thirteen years on X Factor but the show needs a change and I'm ready to leave.' Louis added that he's looking forward to working on Ireland's Got Talent again.
That's not the only change that's coming to the show. It's also claimed that Sharon Osbourne has taken up a new role on the show.
According to reports, she will appear as a judge on the X Factor's live shows. Speaking about the changes, Sharon seems pleased. 'I can’t wait to get back to the judges’ desk. I love the new format.'
It's not yet clear who will take up the role as judge alongside Simon Cowell.
Back in March, it was reported that Nicole wasn't asked back.
