Lil Nas X suffers wardrobe malfunction
Lil Nas X was the musical guest on Saturday night's SNL.
And he suffered a bit of a wardrobe malfunction during his performance of Montero (Call Me By Your Name).
The rapper and his backup dancers wore tight leather trousers for the performance.
It wasn't until Nas performed a routine on a pole (around the 2:20 mark) that the front of his trousers ripped wide open.
He was forced to cover his crotch with his hand for the rest of the song.
He addressed his wardrobe malfunction on Twitter.
'i know i do a lot of planned sh*t but ripping my pants on live television is not one of them,' he insisted.
'i wanted to do my pole routine so bad this what i get lmaoo'
He also tweeted, 'at first i was afraid to even perform.'
'then we rehearsed for 2 weeks, then all of the dancers got removed because one had covid and new ones had to learn the routine in 24 hours, and then i ended up ripping my pants and couldn’t finish.'
He concluded, 'everything happens for a reason tho lol'
Nas also shared a reaction video on TikTok.
'My pants really ripped on live television last night,' he captioned it.
