A Los Angeles festival to be headlined by Janet Jackson has been cancelled by its promoters, the same company that promoted Coachella.
Jackson and 'Florence and the Machine' were due to perform at the FYF Fest on July 21/22 but 'Goldenvoice' announced that it is cancelled.
In a statement, the promoters said:
"Our team of many women and men have worked tirelessly on this event for many years but felt unable to present an experience on par with the expectations of our loyal fans and the Los Angeles music community this year."
Reports suggest that ticket sales had not been going well for this year's festival and that it is hard for smaller festivals to generate a buzz year after year in comparison with the likes of Coachella.
