It had been rumoured that Kim Kardashian might go into politics after meeting with US president Donald Trump about freeing an inmate who was serving a life sentence.
Kim met with the prisoner in question Alice Johnson on the 'Today' show yesterday and explained why she got involved in her story and wanted to help free her. 63 year old Alice had served 20 years of a life sentence for drug trafficking, after Kim met with Donald Trump appealing for her to be freed, she was released on parole. Alice was due to spend the rest of her life behind bars but after admitting wrong doing, her sentence was commuted by Trump.
Alice admitted during the interview that she had no idea who Kim when she initially heard about her.
Kim said that while she will help other inmates like Alice achieve their freedom, she has no desire to go into politics full time.
