Stars like Kim Kardashian and Matthew McConaughey have been surprising students by showing up to their online classes.

They've made special guest appearances and hosted online lectures.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was given the opportunity to lecture a class on criminal justice reform.

She's an aspiring lawyer and this subject is one she holds close to her heart.

Kim spoke to Dr. Marc Howard's class at Georgetown University in the U.S.

Kim said, 'It was so great to speak to Dr. Marc Howard as he teaches his course at Georgetown University.'

Meanwhile, Matthew McConaughey spoke to professor Robert Quigley's students at the University of Texas at Austin School of Journalism.
