Jonathan Rhys Meyers charged with DUI
Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers has been charged with driving under the influence.
According to Fox News, he was arrested in Malibu after his car was involved in a solo accident.
No injuries have been reported.
The L.A. County Sheriff told the news outlet that they responded to the accident at around 5pm on Sunday.
Meyers was arrested and jailed after undergoing a sobriety test.
According to Fox, The Tudors actor was released on Monday morning at 12:30am after posting a $5,000 bail.
He's been charged with a misdemeanor DUI.
The 43-year-old is scheduled to appear in court on February 25th.
Last night, his wife Mara Lane shared a video on Instagram of their 3-year-old son Wolf playing in a pool.
She captioned it, 'More happy highlights.'
'I feel since so many of our lowlights seem to find their way on the web, fair to share some happy moments so when Wolf is older, he can search/find/see/remember the happies.'
Jonathan hasn't spoken out about the accident.
