This year's Eurovision winner has attracted lots of controversy.

Last night Netta was crowned Eurovision winner for 2018 with her song 'Toy' for Israel at the Eurovision Final in Lisbon.

Since been crowned champs, the Israeli entry has been accused of appropriating Japanese culture.

Netta wore a traditional Japanese kimono styled dress on stage, while wearing her hair in traditional Japanese styled space buns and performed in front of an array of Japanese cat figurines.

There's been a social media frenzy with viewers angered by the performance taking to Twitter to tweet their outrage.

One Twitter user even accused Israel of 'bullying another country while acting as a chicken and appropriating Japanese culture."
