Fans Think Pete Davidson's Ex Mocked His Engagement To Ariana

Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande shocked the world on Monday when the news of their engagement broke, three weeks to the day since they announced they were dating. 

One person that's just as shocked as the rest of us is Pete's ex-girlfriend, Carly Aquilino. Just a few hours after the news first circulated, Carly posted a screengrab of a text message she received from a friend about the engagement. 

The friend said 'I know I'm the 9 billionth person to text you today about this, but... I can't.' Carly replied 'HAHAHAHAH' with the caption 'My day in a text message' written across the screengrab. E! have the screengrab which you can see here. 

Fans are not impressed with the shade.

Carly, who is also a comedian, dated Pete in 2015.
