Eminem and Jay Z have filed lawsuits against The Weinstein Company.
According to Deadline, they're owed $800,000 plus rights for various past projects.
Eminem reportedly claims that he is owed $352,000 for the use of three of his tracks in Southpaw - Phenomenal, Phenomenal 2 and Kings Never Die. They've only paid him $48,000 so far.
Jay-Z’s lawsuit allegedly claims that he is owed at least $480,000 by the company. He is reportedly pursuing payment in two installments of $240,000. They're said to be related to the documentary TIME: The Kalief Browder Story and the upcoming series of Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story.
